3.5" Mahogany Crystal/Crystal Double Sided Friction Call3. 5" Crystal Playing surface over a Crystal sound board in a Mahogany pot gives an outstanding roll over sound in all the areas of the call. Crystal over Crystal gives the response of a glass call but has a distinct ring to the notes. Nice raspy tones are heard throughout the call. The sharp response from the crystal sound board makes this call a good choice when looking for a call that will perform well in open country or on those windy days. Play

I make this call in several different wood species which will give various sound/tone differences

Glass/Slate is a great combo and when paired with my Aluminum striker the glass side will play wet and add plenty of rasp to the sound

Use slight pressure as to not break the surface you are working on

Beech wood is a medium weight tight grain wood from North America

Made from a beautiful piece of Stabilized Maple Burl wood fitted with a laser engraved aluminum band

This Crow Hunter has all the notes and volume to get those midday Toms going

Medium volume with clear notes and medium pitch raspy end notes

Brown Ebony is a heavy dense wood from South America

This call is made from Mulberry wood with beautiful grain appearance and coloration throughout the call

and White Limba were used when making this pot
