Hei Tiki Inanga - Greenstone Tiki PendantHei tiki represent the form of the first human. When worn, they provide a tangible link to the tpuna (ancestors) that brought us into this world and guide us forward. Traditionally worn by Mori as ornaments of respect and status, they are a prestigious gift to be handed down as taonga (treasure) through the generations carrying the wisdom and mana of those who wore them previously. This hei tiki was carved by Yuki Tanaka from inanga pounamu sourced

using authentic pounamu (New Zealand greenstone)

This pair measures 85mm by 12mm

It measures 100mm by 42mm

their use is largely ceremonial with orators wielding patu in their left hand

this is an original piece is made from Guatemalan Blue Jade and represents the flowering of a Bonsai tree

participants will have a fully completed and bound manaia to take home
